Binowee is a 256ha grazing property located in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, operated by grazier Cam Griffin. Cam has extensive experience operating on pastoral land and has a keen focus on improving soil, pastural and animal health through rotational grazing, pasture diversity and other management techniques.
Binowee has a range of water sources making it's access to water highly secure, the property contains two bores which feed into separate tanks and watering toughs, a seasonal creek that flows through the property and an estimated average rainfall of 774mm per year.
Cam plans to integrate a number of enterprises onto the farm, this includes cattle, sheep, pastured pigs, chickens, farm stays and more.
Cam estimates that with correct livestock management using regenerative principles, he'll be able to increase stocking rates from 80 cow and calf pairs to over 120 pairs in the future. This will significantly increase the productivity of the farm while also improving the farm's agro-ecosystem.
